Belonging
We all belong though life seems cruel,
A crazy world will call us fool.
Loneliness stalks its frightened prey,
Those anxious fears won't run away.
But God, He sees our desperate plight
As darkness scatters with His light.
Jesus shines His radar gaze
Creating meaning for lost days.
Joy in Heaven when we come home,
However far the prodigal's roam.
There are no answers in our mind,
Seek the Lord and you will find.
Have confidence in His great plan
Because He is God and also man.
He does not change when our tides shift
With His strong Word the fog will lift.
We know so little, yet think so much
And overlook His Spirit's touch.
He says take up your mat and walk,
Refuse to countenance foolish talk.
You are worth more than that lost coin.
Don't run away but come and join
The household of the King of kings
With all the wonder that this brings.
