God's Not Dead
Easter 2014
The stone is gone, he is Alive!
They thought that God could not survive.
But Jesus reigns, triumphant King,
All creation praise and sing.
He overrules the plots of men,
Who doubted he would rise again.
He lives though darkness did its worst,
Through torture, pain and cruel thirst.
He is the victor over sin,
And all the darkness that's within.
Death swallowed by His glorious light,
That extinguishes the pain of night.
Glorious hope when all seems lost,
Nailed to that ghastly cross.
Jesus sets death's captives free
And gives new life to you and me.
The stone is gone, He is not there,
God's not dead, He's everywhere.
