The Dark Lake
He did not drown in that dark lake.
He conquered death new lives to make.
Raised anew out of the depth.
From choking thorns He gave us breath.
Living life out to the full.
Radiant vision never dull.
Light searches out our darkest stain.
Radiates through our deepest pain.
Fishing for men,
Lost in the flood.
Poor and frightened,
Saved by His blood.
Jesus walks on that dark lake,
Our drowning chaos He can break.
