The Light of Hope
Jesus brings hope to darkest night
Where there does not seem to be a light.
Trapped inside a pit so deep
Where thoughts and fears disturb our sleep.
Jesus brings peace to this dark place
If you look up to seek His face.
We cannot grasp or understand
But simply cling to His strong hand.
He will help you with your unbelief
And through His mercy bring relief.
Jesus brings love when all is war.
There are vast resources in His store.
His gift of grace so wide and free
Can release His care for you and me.
When all seems bleak with little hope
No problem lies beyond His scope.
Our fragile prayers are not in vain
When all seems lost He will sustain.
Those who faithfully look to Him
And live the life of His pilgrim.
