Brave Flower
Brave flower in the driving gale,
In stormy seasons our hearts fail.
Building castles on the rock,
Which courageously withstand the shock
Of all the trials sent our way,
Surviving yet another day.
Foundations in our faithful Lord,
Defended with the Spirit's sword.
God lightens up our darkest hour,
A beacon shining from His tower.
All secrets open to His light,
Driving sin into the night.
Radiant blossom in the rain,
Defies the torture and the pain.
Christ defeating sin and death,
The Spirit's power, God's greatest breath.
Creating all, reflecting glory,
The hand of God tells its own story.
A temple fashioned with His hands
That we can barely understand.
