God is not silent
God is not silent, yet we scarcely hear,
Entangled with worry, wrapped up in fear.
Too many sounds silence His voice,
To many urges to make that wrong choice.
God speaks through the discord,
Our clamour, our noise.
Keeping true to His record,
His grace, love and poise.
Be still, do not chatter,
Hear all that He says.
Many things just don't matter,
If we follow His ways.
Yet He hears all our questions,
No prayer is dismissed.
He makes no exceptions,
You are there on His list.
God is not silent,
He hears all our pleas,
His ways are not our ways,
Yet He holds all the keys.
