Knowing So Little
We know so little, yet say so much,
The glory of God we cannot touch.
Our minds so small, God so vast,
Treasures of Earth that will not last.
Exploring God, so simple and clear,
False gods of men will disappear.
Like dreams that vanish as we wake,
Fantasies, trash, one big mistake.
Distorted images of all God made,
Masterpieces will eventually fade.
Shaking leaves from an old tree,
Seeing more than feeble eyes can see.
We hold God's hand and walk in trust,
When the ways of men seem so unjust.
But God's ways too we can't explain,
Seasons shift from joy to pain.
We do not need to ask Him why,
Just marvel at that glorious sky.
Changing moods from day to day,
Beyond petty words that men will say.
There is truth abundant in His Word,
More than vicious gossip overheard.
He gave His all for sinful men,
Constant love, not as and when
