Glorious World
What a glorious world that God has made,
In brilliant tones that do not fade.
He refreshes the bleakest barren place,
With living water - streams of grace.
The desert blossoms with His care,
Abundant life with more to spare.
Good Shepherd guides His straying sheep,
In His safe hands, His people keep.
His ways can break a heart of stone,
And prune the weeds that we have grown.
He brings beauty out of waste,
Slow but sure, not needless haste.
His ways defy the human mind,
Producing treasure we can't find,
Unless we trust in His great love,
Lavishly scattered from above.
What wonders come to us each day,
More than our poor words can say.
Thank you Lord, you are all we need,
To grow good fruit from one small seed.
