Taste and see that God is good
Taste and see that God is good,
He satisfies us with His Word.
His goodness flows so pure and true,
Reaching out to me and you.
We need God's Word to feed our soul,
Build us up and make us whole.
Finding treasure beyond our sight,
A feast of love and great delight.
We cannot live on bread alone,
But on all the wisdom He has shown.
He gives what's good, He gives the best,
When all is anguish, there's his rest.
We need His strength, we need His power,
To sustain us hour by hour.
His way is sweet in bitter times,
Whatever mountain we must climb.
